The redesign of USA Today, which Jeanette was hired by international brand consultants Wolff Olins to assist with, won the 2013 Fast Company Design Innovation By Design Award and a Silver Lion at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Embarking on its 30th year of publication, the newspaper sought to modernize and refresh its image. To do this the team revitalized content organization with a straightforward grid system, provided clearer information hierarchy, and incorporated new typefaces, one of which was bespoke. The resulting design allowed for bigger stories, more color and infographics, and links to online content.
